Axel Johnson International Welcomes Renowned Business Strategist Peter Stracar to the Bord of Directors

Axel Johnson International is pleased to announce the appointment of business leader, Peter Stracar, as the newest member of its Board of Directors. Peter Stracar officially assumed the position on November 8, 2023, bringing with him an impressive 25-year track record in strategic planning, business development, and organisational leadership.

Peter Stracar has a distinguished career, showcasing expertise in strategic vision execution, change management, M&A, and talent development. His experience spans diverse industries, including roles in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Notably, Peter Stracar has excelled in steering both complex organisations and privately-owned companies towards their growth objectives and he has a proven track record of successfully managing transitions from executive to non-executive and advisory roles.

Currently Peter Stracar is holding key positions in various international organisations, including Chair of the Supervisory Board at B:TECH, a.s., and Chair of the Board at AIT Group, a.s. Before that, he held leadership roles at General Electric (GE) and Hilti Corporation, where he served as President and CEO of GE’s European region and President of Hilti Corporation’s Asia Pacific business, among others.
