Product Owner, IT

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Axel Johnson International – group IT – has developed a centralized integration platform in MS Azure using Azure Integration Services, which integrates enterprise applications for our local companies and business groups. Currently the platform has 300+ integrations and is utilized by 70+ companies and 5 business groups.

In this rapidly evolving platform, we’re seeking an experienced product owner to take responsibility for successful delivery of integration projects with an agile mindset. The position will involve close collaboration with people across the Axel Johnson International organization.

As a Product Owner, you will lead scrum team to define the product vision, establish a roadmap, and identify growth opportunities, ensuring consistent communication with stakeholders throughout the project. You will collaborate with both internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align the product roadmap with strategic goals. Working closely with product managers and business teams, you will create and maintain a product backlog prioritized according to business value and remain up-to-date on trends and best practices for agile project management.

SUMMARY OF TASKS
-Plan and prioritize product development and product feature backlog
-Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they’re clearly understood by team members
-Mitigate roadblocks to achieving release goals
-Lead the project-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
-Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

-Five or more years of experience in product development or software development
-In-depth knowledge of agile methodology for product management
-Experience working with Azure DevOps
-Experience and understanding of EAI concepts, such as ESB, SOA, Microservices, etc
-Prior Experience of working with Integration products such as Azure Integration Services, BizTalk, MuleSoft, etc. is a big plus
-Documentation experience
-Good level of English, both written and spoken
-In addition to the required technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication skills and a humble, team-oriented attitude with a keen sense for details. You should have a solid understanding of business logic and requirements, coupled with an intuitive approach to presenting information and educating others.
