Axel Johnson International’s Acorn Group acquires conveyor belting specialist Performance Conveyor Belting Ltd.

Acorn Group, part of business group Power Transmission Solutions, strengthens its market position in the UK by the acquisition of Performance Conveyor Belting Ltd, a conveyor belt specialist.

Founded in 1997 by a husband-and-wife team of David and Linda Dummett, Performance Conveyor Belting (PCB) has grown to a 1.2m GBP turnover company with nine employees. The company is located in Cambridge in the East of England. It serves customers nationwide in the Maintenance, Repair, and operations (MRO) segment across various industrial sectors, but predominately food & beverage and agricultural industries. Its product portfolio consists entirely of conveyor belts and as a specialist in this field, they offer a large variety of belts as well as belt fabrication and customisation on-site from a modern workshop.
